I am happy to report that Park Manufacturing continues to demonstrate outstanding performance.This can be directly attributed the methodologies and the plain, simple hard work that you and your team at  Hill Standard Works accomplished at Park. Park is one of several manufactures supplying electrical harnesses and related products to Cummins. I have worked as a supply quality engineering for 7 – years.  Park has been one of my continuous reporting suppliers for the entire time period. As you know, Cummins monitors key suppliers through Monthly Reporting Metrics.  I compile and send these to several companies including Park. These include defect rate (ppm), number of line disruptions, line downtime, location of plant disruptions, and an overall Monthly Quality Score. Park was performing very poorly and had a long standing record of years of negative performance indices.  Park personnel would be at our site multiple times per week sorting and reworking product.  Park had significant impact on shutting down one of our key military production lines. The situation had deteriorated so badly, Park was faced with possible elimination as a supplier.Park chose your firm to assist them and completely turn around their performance and is now one of our top suppliers.I continue to compile the monthly metric report and am happy to report they have had numerous months of 0 ppm with other months being in the single  digits.I would NEVER had thought this possible based on my historical experiences with them. I congratulate your firm once again for achieving this remarkable accomplishment.

I have known Walter Hill for about three years in his position as President of GMA and as an independent consultant.  I have found him to be determined in his quest for manufacturing excellence.   Several months ago, I was planning the opening of a new manufacturing operation requiring clean operations at a facility that had been used for mold making.  I was also confronted with a manufacturing cost problem requiring that I drop the cost to manufacture by 50% as a threshold and 65% as an objective.  This challenge included relocating manufacturing from California to Michigan; establishing the new facility; training a new workforce; and not losing the cadence of required deliveries.
